In order to speak precisely, students need to understand what is being said around them. Listening is paramount to mutual communication, and to develop critical thinking skills in English. In this phase, listening and speaking walk hand in hand: I will give students real-life situations where they can maximize their listening skills so that their speaking is simple, direct, and easily understood by others. Students will understand the rise and fall of the voice in spoken English, the natural flow of conversation, and practice speaking in diverse situations that will make them feel comfortable and at ease.
Reading is a fundamental English skill, and during the second phase, we will focus on pronunciation - a pivotal key in being understood by native English speakers: When others grasp what you are saying, it is much easier to feel comfortable speaking. I will train students in the different English sounds and phonetics in an easily digestible way. We will focus on speaking when we go over the reading and expand on it with insightful exploration of the topics being discussed. It is a hands-on, fun, and entertaining approach to learning.
In phase 3, we are ready to speak freely. These classes will be 100% spoken, and students will bring topics of discussion for each of them. We will hone in on the skills we studied before. Students will feel even more comfortable and focused when speaking English. This is where “the rubber meets the road” as the saying goes.
English has been part of my life as far back as first grade. My mother is an English teacher, so the language was always all around me: I grew up listening to music, watching movies, as well as animated and live-action series in English.
In 2002, I moved to New York, and two years later I began my work as an educator. My first student was my neighbor, a woman in her mid-30’s, who was too shy to study English at a language school, so she asked if I could teach her through private classes.
Fast forward to today, and I have helped over a thousand students from more than two dozen countries speak English and realize their dreams of visiting or living in an English-speaking country, and students who dreamed of working for multinational companies, where communicating in the language was a requirement.
That’s why I want to invite you to take a free trial lesson with me, so I can find out exactly what your English needs are, and how I can help you leverage our time together so you can achieve your goals – be they for work or leisure.
To your success,

My main focus is individual classes. One to one lessons, where I can emphasize your learning needs. That way, I can help you achieve your English goals much faster than if you were at a regular classroom.
The classes are 60 minutes long.
The frequency will depend on your needs and availability. We will discuss the best strategy for your learning in your trial class.
It will depend on how many classes per week you take and their duration.
For the exact amount, you should schedule a 45-minute trial class so I can go over it with you.
My methodology adopts the 80-20 model, in other words, students speak for 80% of the time we spend in class together, whereas the teacher only talks for 20% of it. That boosts students’ speaking skills from the get-go and accelerates their learning. You will experience progress from our first meeting together.
Absolutely. The English conversation classes are specially for students who want to improve their English speaking abilities.
I have 20 years of experience in teaching English to speakers of other languages. I will listen to you, tailor the class for your specific needs, and help you in developing your skills and achieving your personal and professional goals by using English effectively.
